tasked with designing a luminary artifact that incorporates a basic ikea cordset, the hexu desk lamp was created. using the rotating shade and translucent polymer body, the lamp serves a dual purpose and can be used to shine in a specific direction for work or be used as an ambient soft light. renders were created in fusion 360 and posters were made using adobe illustrator.
