designed for use in long term care homes, specifically for patients living with dementia, the easy green planter aims to add life to the space while providing a sense of agency to its user. by implementing a self watering mechanism in a small form factor planter, the design intends to encourage autonomy and confidence in the user taking care of the plant. the care process was designed to be as simple as possible, in which by occasionally filling the resevoir through the spout on the side, the plant can siphon the water it needs. prototype made using 3d printing and PLA filament.
